    PREFACE Skin Regenerating Hybrid Sun Essence SPF50+/PA++++ is a high-performance sunscreen formulated to protect the skin from harmful UV rays while supporting skin health. This hypoallergenic, essence-type sunscreen has been dermatologically tested for safety and effectiveness.

    It combines both chemical and physical UV filters to provide broad-spectrum protection with minimal irritation. The formula includes AakoSun BEMT, an organic UV filter that delivers high SPF and UVA protection while converting UV rays into harmless thermal energy. It also contains Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂), a mineral filter that deflects both UVA and UVB rays, offering up to 15 hours of sun protection.

    Infused with over 60% skincare essence, the product features powerful actives such as 3GF Complex, V7 Complex, Niacinamide, White Flower Complex 6, and V-Lactocitrus.     AakoSun BEMT

    It is better known as Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine. It is an organic, oil-soluble sun filter. Absorbs both UV-A and UV-B rays at wavelengths from 280 to 400nm, with peak protections at about 310 and 345nm. Only small concentrations are required to achieve a high Sun Protection Factor (SPF) and UV-A Protection Factor (UVAPF). Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine is not significantly absorbed into the skin, barely leads to skin irritation and does not appear to have hormonal effects.

    Titanium Dioxide

    Titanium dioxide (TiO2) is one of the most important and effective sunscreens for protecting skin and has been safely used for decades. Unlike other compounds used in sunscreens, which may absorb only a part of the UV radiation, TiO2 is extremely efficient at protecting against all aspects of UV light that can affect skin by absorbing and scattering both UVA and UVB rays.

    TiO2 is a mineral sunscreen (Inorganic Sunscreen Active) that forms a protective layer on the top of the skin to reflect UV rays, whereas other chemical filters are absorbed into the skin.

    Mineral filters such as TiO2 are the only type that are generally recognised as safe and effective (GRASE) by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), while some organic filters have been banned due to their detrimental effects on coral reefs or for health related concerns.

    How To Use

    Step 1

    Pump enough sunscreen amount after cleansing, toner, and moisturizer.

    Step 2

    Apply liberally on the face, neck, and exposure area of the skin, 10  minutes before sun exposure.

    Step 3

    For best results, re-apply sunscreen after every 3-4 hours.

    Yes, Preface Skin Regenerating Hybrid Sun Essence has been tested in a sun protection clinical test based on the GMRC-22418-S6R1 in Korea in July 2022. The test results confirm our sunscreen meets the SPF 50 claim and PA+++ rating. The expected SPF is 50, and the expected UVA-PF is 16.1, both validated by the clinical test.
